We are very pleased to welcome Marine Troop 901 TS Fearless as our event charity for 2018. If you took part in the 2016 or 2017 East Coast Triathlon you will have been cheered around the run route by these wonderfully enthusiastic cadets. The cadets from 901 have also provided excellent marshalling at our XC events and Fritton Lake Triathlons so please thank them if you can!
A registered charity, this independent Marine Cadet Unit was formed in September 2001, hence it’s title 901 Troop and is based at Winterton-On-Sea. The Troop is open to boys and girls aged 11 to 18 years who meet regularly and take part in many diverse activities such as adventure training, first aid and map reading. Troop 901 aims to provide the opportunity for young people to develop into responsible, dependable and useful members of society.

You will see these smart and enthusiastic cadets once again manning the water station and run route at East Coast 2018 so please join us in thanking them for giving up their time to volunteer. You will be able to find out more about Troop 901 at the event. They are always happy to take on new cadets and as a registered charity will be very happy to talk to you about the troop and ways you can help them raise funds. Registered charity number: 1153100
