19th & 20th May 2018

Swim 160m, Bike 17km, Run 3km

Voted by you the competitors as one of the Top Triathlons in the UK 2016 & 2017 on race review site racecheck this award winning event is perfect for anyone who loves a fun & friendly triathlon with a real community atmosphere. The 160m swim takes place in the family friendly pool where you swim two lengths of each lane before exiting the water. The cycle route is amazing! A single 17km loop through beautiful rural mid Suffolk taking in some breathtaking (literally) views as you pass through small villages along country roads. Sweet and simple, the run is two laps of a 1.5km route around the playing fields alongside the leisure centre and along the headland of adjoining arable fields.

With the option of racing Saturday evening or Sunday morning this event suits early birds and late risers alike. Can’t decide which race? Why not challenge yourself to ‘do the double’?  Even better, Sunday afternoon includes TriStar aquathlons for children aged 8-14, so why not not make a weekend of it and bring the whole family?

With a spectator friendly course, chip timing, finishers medal and a fun and relaxed atmosphere this race welcomes  youths and adults aged 15+ and is an ideal introduction to triathlon competition as well a great warm up to the season for more experienced competitors.
